The Ron Davis Big Band is Sacramento's premiere dance/swing band. Performing on the 1st Tuesday of each month at JB's Lounge, inside The Clarion Hotel (formerly The Red Lion) at 1401 Arden Way in Sacramento, we provide swinging melodies for listening and dancing!
We play from 7-9 and then I play DJ dance music, with your requests, to keep the party rolling into the night.
EVERY Tuesday night is Big Band Tuesdays at The Clarion! Every week features a great local big band for listening and dancing.

Our 17-piece band features 5 saxophones, 4 trumpets, 4 bones and a solid rhythm section that has performed with many touring acts and local pro bands! Featuring female and male vocalists, we play the great big band swing music as recorded by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Woody Herman, Stan Kenton and Buddy Rich to name a few. We are also the West Coast backing orchestra for the Dean O Holics, a local but nationally known "Rat Pack" tribute show which has performed on stage with Deana Martin!
